Terms and Conditions
Entry criteria: Must be a photo containing a vegetarian or
vegan food or dish. A person or multiple persons may be present in the photo if
they choose to. Photo can be taken anywhere in the world. Entrants may wish to
add a caption to their photo, but this is not compulsory.
Entrants can enter the competition as many times as they like.
Photoshopping to enhance the photo is welcome, however
photos which involve superimposing the main foodstuff or other major subjects
on to a background will be rejected. Whether a photo meets this criterion will
be at the judges’ discretion.
Photos can be supplied in any format including jpeg, tiff,
pdf, png and bmp.
The competition will commence Monday 11 July at 5:00pm 2011 and
will close Friday 26 August 2011 at 5:00pm. Any entries receive before or after
this period will not be accepted.
The winner and runner-up will be announced on Monday 29
August 2011.
The competition prize-winners will be decided by a panel of independent
judges. Their decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
First prize of a night at the Parkview Hotel in Melbourne does not include airfares/other travel costs to the destination.
Entrants must consent to having their names published on the
Vegetarian Victoria website (www.vegetarianvictoria.org.au)
and – if they are chosen as a winner or runner-up – their full name and
suburb/town of residence.
Vegetarian Victoria will only take personal details for the
purpose of notifying the winners and will never disclose any personal
information to a third party. This information will be destroyed soon after the
close of the competition.
Any photo that contains violent, pornographic, racist or
otherwise offensive material will be rejected.
Vegetarian Victoria will not be held responsible for any
loss or damage that may arise from participation in this competition.
