A well-balanced vegetarian diet (which is not that difficult to
achieve) can provide all the nutrients,
including all vitamins and minerals, that the human body requires.
Regardless of the adequacy of
the diet, some vegetarians and vegans prefer to consult with a
dietitian from
time to time 'to be on the safe side'. The purpose of this
page is to help people find a dietitian who is sympathetic to their
dietary choices and who is knowledgeable in the area of vegetarian and
vegan
nutrition.
